Before we start our journey, a guy whom we believe is the boss of the Red Inn guest house bring us to see another morning. Red Inn guest house which is located not far from out guest house, We found this guest house is awesome...
Today, our journey begins once we step out from guest house. We walk along Love Lane, at the end of the lane, we reached a elegant and classic church Cathedral of the Assumption. Yong Ying & Lee Hua elope couple finally marry in this beautiful church. As we walk across Lebuh Light, Lebuh Farquhar, Pengkalan Weld and more roads. We could see many beautiful old buildings such as Supreme Court Building, St. George's Church, Malayan Railway Building & many more...
However, if we really want to know more about Penang history, one place we should not miss is the Penang Museum.
The Penang Hills Express outside the Penang Museum do awake those innocent memories of me.
A visit to Penang Museum doesn't cost us a lot of time, after we leave the museum, we then move to 观音寺 Kuan Yin See at Jalan Burma. In along with the CNY period, this temple turns unusually crowded.
In the contrary, I'm more comfortable in Cha Diam Ma, a quiet & secluded souvenir shop. The oldish furniture & wall reminds me of the environment of 13 states Coffee Shop in Malacca.
Xiao Hua told us that she is going to bring us to the Penang Peranakan Mansion. I thought it was just another Penang Peranakan Mansion, I realize that I'm totally wrong.
...... Huaseh~ A typical Peranakan Banglo, this is a wealthy Baba's home! (O...o)
As i walk into the mansion, I was amazed by opulent decoration of this mansion. the furniture, the staircase, the lantern and the chandelier, the marble floor, the paintings and even the piano!!!
However, the environment make me feel so familiar as I come in here before...... Oh~ This is Chen Xi house in the Singapore Drama name LITTLE NYONNYA......
We took 2 hours in the Peranakan Mansion, until we almost forgot our lunch hour...... (-_-")
Don't worry, we do eat our lunch at Chew Clan Jetty, after that we stroll at Chew Clan Jetty with our dessert - the plum ice stick......
Look! What we have found..... This is the Fighting Fish father's house in ICE KACANG PUPPY LOVE...
... I just love to feel the ocean breeze, Chew's Clan Jetty is just like a little Pulau Ketam......
Leaving the seaside, we next move to Ayer Itam, a place which located in the Penang Island inland...... Penang Lang can easily guess out where is our next destination..... Bingo! It's Kek Lok Si!
I know San Wee senior roommate - Zi Seng senior live in this area, sadly Zi Seng roommate doesn't know about it at all, walau~
Once I saw the Kek Lok Si aloft on the top of the hill, I believe I could reach the top in 15 minutes, but something has attract our attention......
Ooh~ Look at those shits...... (Kinda rude, sorry~) I mean look at those faeces, those fresh faeces reminds Wei Chuen senior previous regret in Penang....... It's time to buy him the most nauseating faeces as his souvenirs....
... Xiao Hua pay for that faeces, but no one dare to touch the faeces with bare hands except me...... I never saw San Wee senior when I choose the faeces... XD Yet Zia Mun looks more brave this time... But once she saw the little fat boy grab the faeces and sniff all over it, she directly ask the tauke to add 2 layer of plastic bags..... =D
Reach Kek Lok Si after we walk for 30 minutes, we take photos and pray as we walk...... The most surprising thing is we met Hui Yi senior again today.....
Kek Lok Si change a lot comparing to the last time I came 9 years ago, cable car doesn't exist that time and the Guan Yin was aloft without a hut.....
Due to the crowded situation, we had missed the chance to take a cable car ride to the peak where the Guan Yin aloft, at last we choose to walk slowly to there......
No matter what, we still success to reach the peak and catch the sunset at the peak......
Kek Lok Si turn awesomely beautiful at night in along with the bright up of colourful lights.....
When we leave Kek Lok Si, it's already 8 something and our stomach is still empty...... (>.<) The situation even worse when the bus doesn't reach punctually......
It's 10.30pm when we reach Gurney Drive for dinner, I think we can just name the meal as dinper....
