咚咚咚锵~ 咚咚咚锵~ 这是大家最熟悉不过的新年声……
但是今年要我选一个可以代表新年声的声响，绝对不是刚才提到的‘咚咚咚锵~’，也不是象征鞭炮声的‘噼里啪啦~’，而是炸弹乱舞的‘BOOM SHAKALAKA~’……
…… 过去的一个月，我被南马的紫色炸弹、东马的红色炸弹和中马的绿色炸弹连续轰炸，炸到我高喊：“Satu Malaysia! Satu Malaysia kahwin sama-sama~”
……炸到我不得不高唱：“炸弹来的太快就像龙卷风”~
今天是大年初二，正当周遭的人在忙着接财神的时候，我在忙着接绿炸弹……
由于外婆在两个月前离世，母系亲戚正在守孝，所以今年大年初二，我没有到外婆家拜年……
这是我第一次大年初二在吉隆坡过，我把这一个第一次献给了中六朋友的婚礼……
既然是谈到中六同学的篇章，我就得转换一下我的文字了，比起汉字，我总觉得字母比较能表达我对他们的感情……
Another Form 6 classmate is married today, she is the best friend of Afiqah Zabidi, who is the bride of the very last Form 6 classmate wedding I attend, she is Dalila Azman. She is the bridesmaid of Afiqah, and she already engaged in October 2016, the bridegroom is her university lecturer.
Today, Dalila's wedding not only fills up my very first second day of CNY in KL, but her wedding also my first gathering in CNY 2018, my first Form 6 gathering in 2018, and also my first wedding I attend in 2018…
It’s hard to believe that the cutest of our class is marry today~
Semasa belajar di Tingkatan 6, dia budak yang paling comel dalam kelas kita, sekelip mata sahaja, dia sudah menjadi pengantin + isteri cantik orang lain…… Tapi perangai masih comel macam yang kita kenal dulu…..
Tahniah dan selamat pengantin baru Dalila Azman, cepat-cepat melahirkan anak yang comel macam you~ Semoga anda berdua sentiasa mesra, mengharungi suka dan duka bersama
A couple of our classmate has married recent years, including today Dalila and Afiqah which I got the chance witness, and also Nurul, Sofea and Acu whose I missed out their wedding…
Coming up May will be Pravin’s wedding, he is the gossip guy of Dalila during our Form 6 days… Oops~
Pravin failed to attend Dalila wedding today, Dalila making a joke upon his absence, saying that he is too sad to see her gone with another guy…. Wakakakaka~ XD
At the end Dalila wedding, I finally have a chance to hold the bouquet from the bride, but……
But the bouquet I get wasn’t from bouquet toss like Form 5 classmate - Wan Wen’s wedding last time, because bouquet toss isn’t the Malay wedding tradition, eventually, I just help Dalila hold her bouquet…
Although Dalila’s ‘Bunga (Flower)’ doesn't belong to me, she does gives us a ‘Bunga’ as a souvenir when we leave, that ‘Bunga’ is Bunga Telur, which literally means Egg Flower, is an ornamented egg festooned with a flower.
Now Bunga Telur is a tradition in Malay wedding, it signifies fertility in their tradition.
I learned about it when I study Form 1, from a short stories name OF BUNGA TELUR & BALLY SHOES, Selected Poems and Short Stories 1.
If you are born in the 90s, you will definitely know what am I talking about, unless you missed or skipped all the English class during Form 1~ XD
